In Public Prosecutor v Sim Chon Ang Jason and other appeals [2025] SGHC 24, the High Court sentenced the primary offender in Public Prosecutor v Sim Chon Ang Jason and other appeals [2024] SGHC 169 to 12 months’ imprisonment in respect of a charge under the Companies Act. The High Court ordered this sentence to run concurrently with the sentence of 44 months’ imprisonment which was previously ordered in respect of five charges of cheating punishable under s 420 of the Penal Code. The High Court also sentenced the secondary offender to an aggregate sentence of 30 months’ imprisonment in respect of five charges for abetment of cheating. Read more: go.gov.sg/2025sghc24
