17-year-old Red Bull Academy driver Arvid Lindblad had his first F1 test yesterday in a Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) programme with Racing Bulls. Arvid, whose parents are from Sweden and India, will compete in Formula 2 this year with Campos. He’s no stranger to F1 machinery, having driven Sebastian Vettel’s 2012 title-winning car during a showrun in Houston last year. Given his trajectory, a Red Bull reserve role and a few FP1 outings this season might not be far off.
