Location: Maseru, Lesotho. Job Category: Academic/Training. Reporting to: Managing Director. 𝐊𝐄𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒: The successful candidate will be responsible for: • Providing theoretical and practical instruction in spa and wellness services, covering massage therapy, aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, reflexology, and holistic wellness. • Designing and implementing industry-aligned lesson plans and curricula. • Assessing and evaluating students to ensure competency-based learning. • Providing mentorship, academic guidance, and career coaching to students. • Engaging with industry professionals and stakeholders to ensure training relevance. • Ensuring compliance with training standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance policies. 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐌𝐔𝐌 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒: 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: • A First Degree in Spa Therapy, Wellness Management, or a similar discipline with at least three (3) years of relevant industry or teaching experience. • OR a Diploma in Spa Therapy, Wellness Management, or a similar discipline with at least seven (7) years of relevant experience. 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: • TVET Instructor Certification (Mandatory). • Teaching Methodology Certification (Mandatory). • Assessor/Moderator Certification (preferred). 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲): • Membership in relevant technical or academic bodies, such as Spa and Wellness Associations, Massage Therapy Councils, or TVET Academic Bodies. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬: • Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of spa and wellness services. • Excellent teaching, communication, and mentorship skills. • Creativity and innovation in lesson delivery and curriculum design. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Commitment to continuous professional development.
