🔆 NASA’s New Space Telescope – SPHEREx 📍 Mission Overview ✅ NASA is launching SPHEREx on a two-year mission to study the universe's formation, galaxy evolution, and biogenic molecules in the Milky Way. 📍 Key Objectives ✅ Most Colorful Cosmos Map – SPHEREx will map the universe in optical & infrared light. ✅ Measuring Cosmic Inflation – It will study the universe’s expansion that occurred 14 billion years ago. ✅ 3D Galaxy Mapping – SPHEREx will use spectroscopic imaging to map 450 million galaxies. 📍 Search for Life ✅ The telescope will identify water & life-forming molecules (biogenic molecules) like carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. ✅ These molecules are frozen in icy particles in distant galaxy regions, and SPHEREx will study how they might have reached Earth.
