*Talk by Sri Goda Easwar Sharma | Devotional Music Program by Ms Rakshitha Ramji & Team | Ati Rudra Maha Yajnam | Evening Proceedings | Feb 22, 2025*
As the evening proceedings unfolded in Sai Kulwant Hall, the radiant Sayeeshwara Linga, adorned with a regal crown of yellow and purple flowers, sat majestically in front of Swami's Sannidhi. The atmosphere was filled with sacred energy as flower petals were offered and traditional rituals, including Kramarchana and Ashtavadhana Seva, were performed amidst Vedic chants.
Sri Goda Easwar Sharma, an alumnus of IIT Madras and a scholar of Vedanta and Mimamsa, delivered an enlightening talk on the significance of performing Yajnas as a practice of Karma Yoga, as described in the Bhagavad Gita. He explained that the human pursuit of happiness and avoidance of pain often leads to the accumulation of both sin (Paapa) and merit (Punya), resulting in the continuous cycle of karma. He emphasized that performing Yajnas is one of the highest forms of service, contributing to the welfare of all and expressing gratitude for both the tangible and intangible benefits one receives from society and the world.
The evening's spiritual offerings continued with a devotional music program by Ms Rakshitha Ramji and her team. Her captivating performance, marked by a sweet, melodious voice, held the audience in rapt attention. Presenting a bouquet of Carnatic songs, she honored various deities with grace and devotion.
