21-year-old Guy was only 2 years old when he first expressed that he was transgender.
At 11 years old, Guy came out to his mom by writing a letter: "Dear mom, I am a boy. I feel like a boy trapped in a girl's body. On the inside I was always a boy and that's all I ever will be." She immediately took Guy to a therapist, before starting a rigorous process that allowed him to start hormone blockers, and eventually testosterone at 16. His medical journey has resulted in Guy now experiencing "very little dysphoria" and finally feeling like his true self: "your identity is yours to own, yours to express - there's no right or wrong way."
