Flipkart has closed down ANS Commerce, the online retail enabler it acquired in 2022, and laid off its entire workforce. Founded in 2017, ANS Commerce provided marketing tools and warehousing support to businesses selling online. Flipkart is assisting affected employees with internal job placements, outplacement services, and severance benefits. While the exact number of impacted employees is unknown, reports suggest ANS Commerce had around 600 employees at the end of fiscal 2022.
