Responsible for component costing of products for regular purchase and get approval as per procedure. 2. Negotiate with suppliers on cost increase/reduction and approval from Team Leader Materials. 3. Responsible for releasing Purchase Orders, Purchase Schedules & amendments to the Vendors as per authority limits. 4. Monitoring stock for optimum inventory. 5. Responsible for attending to vendor problems with respect to delivery and quality through co-ordination with related departments and agencies. 6. Maintaining good relation with vendors, providing them guidance and technical support. 7. Prompt resolution of commercial matters with the Suppliers including regular reconciliation of accounts & materials. 8. Working in close coordination with the Accounts Department for payments and reconciliation. 9. Leading team of purchase to achieve Key Result Areas and improve overall efficiency keeping their motivation and moral high. 10. Generating and communicating MIS.
