National Children’s Ministry - COPHQ
February 23, 2025 at 09:36 PM
Together with his wife and the team, the Director arrived safely in Sunyani from Kumasi on Saturday. During the visit, they had the opportunity to engage with Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA) leaders from three universities; the University of Natural Resources (UNER), Sunyani Technical University (STU), and the Catholic University in Sunyani and its surrounding areas.
The Director of the Children’s Ministry led an insightful session on the birthing of visions and the importance of implementing them in alignment with set times, as outlined in Habakkuk 2:2. He emphasized that vision is born when leaders experience a holy discontent between what is and what could be. He further noted that dissatisfaction with the status quo, coupled with a drive to create meaningful change, serves as the foundation for visionary leadership.
Additionally, the Director took the opportunity to introduce key aspects of the Children’s Ministry 2028 Strategic Plan. Given that PENSA institutions are among the ministry’s strategic partners, he encouraged their involvement in addressing the teacher deficit within their respective communities.
