ਸੀ.ਆਈ. ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵੱਲੋ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਮਹਿਲ ਤੋਂ ਹਰਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ 10 ਕਿਲੋ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਸਥਿਤ ਤਸਕਰ ਚਾਚਾ ਬਾਵਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਡਰੋਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਅਟਾਰੀ ਸੈਕਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜਦਾ ਸੀ। ਐਨ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ. ਐਕਟ ਤਹਿਤ ਐਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ. ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। In an intelligence based operation, CI Amritsar apprehends Harmandeep Singh from Village Mahal, Amritsar, and recovers 10 Kg Heroin.
