Main duties of the job We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and forward thinking individual who possesses highly expert technical knowledge of Oracle and Oracle architecture, combined with excellent proven mentoring and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be based at the City Hospital Campus, will be working closely with the current SQL DBAs as well as the Infrastructure and Software Development teams, and will be expected to provide extensive in-depth technical expertise, leadership, guidance and support to the Trust in the architecture, maintenance, upgrading, and troubleshooting of existing Oracle databases (including, but not restricted to, the Trust’s DHR solution), as well as the architecture, configuration, tuning, and delivery of new Oracle databases and other new database tools and technologies. Person Specification Training & Qualifications Essential A relevant IT degree at MSc level or above, or equivalent technical qualification & experience.
