It is deeply concerning that unsafe medicines have entered our healthcare system, leading to tragic incident of loss of five mothers in Bellary. We are taking strict action to prevent such occurrences, ensuring only safe and high-quality medicines reach our people. I have urged the immediate withdrawal of substandard drugs from the market and called for a nationwide system to monitor drug quality effectively.
