Looking back over the past five years, Alhamdulillah, the best decision I made was to pursue NLP and Life Coaching certification with Mr. Syed Kamran Sultan Those who attend sessions with me under www.numood.org know that I often quote Mr. Kamran by name in many discussions. The lesson that struck me most—and the one he repeated several times—was: 1. “It is Allah who sends the client.” 2. “Shaitan will frighten you with poverty.” الشیطان یعدکم الفقر۔۔۔ 3. “Even if you work your entire life, how many people can you really serve?” The fear of poverty creates a particular mindset. It keeps you in survival mode, where you see everyone as an enemy, fighting for your own survival. A person consumed by the struggle for survival cannot think about the future. Instead of collaborating, you end up competing with everyone. You believe the only way to get ahead is by pulling others down. You live perpetually in a psychology of fear. In that state, you forget that the keys to the treasures of the heavens and the earth are in Allah SWT's hands. He is the Best of Providers, calling you toward His grace— I tell my students: if, throughout the entire course, you learn just this one concept, then you have not lost anything.
