Taraba State Emergency Management Agency Conducts Training on Standard Data Capture, Management, and Ethics
The Taraba State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) has taken a significant step towards enhancing its emergency management capabilities. Recently, SEMA conducted a one-day training program on standard data capture, management, and ethics for its staff. This training aimed to promote excellence in emergency management and improve the agency's data management practices.
Objectives of the Training
The training program focused on four primary objectives:
1. Enhance Understanding: Enhance participants' understanding of standard data capture, management, and ethics.
2. Improve Data Management: Improve data management practices within SEMA.
3. Promote Excellence: Promote excellence in emergency management through accurate and reliable data.
4. Foster Data-Driven Decision-Making: Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the agency.
Dr. Echuseh Audu, Executive Secretary of SEMA, emphasized the importance of accurate and reliable data in emergency management. This training aligns with Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas's policies to ensure the well-being of Taraba state citizens by enhancing disaster management and emergency response.
