Job Title: *Finance Manager* Industry : *Healthcare* Location: *Dar es salaam* Email : *[email protected]* *Job Summary* IM Hodari Consulting is recruiting a Finance Manager on behalf of our client, a leading company in the healthcare and retail pharmacy sector. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing accounting and financial operations, ensuring compliance with Tanzanian financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth. *Key Responsibilities:* √ Oversee bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, month-end closings, and reconciliations. √ Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and Tanzanian regulations. √ Manage accounts payable & receivable, supplier payments, and customer collections. √ Oversee payroll processing, statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF), and tax filings (VAT, Corporate Tax, WHT). √ Ensure cost control, inventory valuation, and stock reconciliations for both retail and wholesale operations. √ Develop and implement strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud. √ Prepare financial statements, budget forecasts, and cash flow reports to support business decision-making. *Key Qualifications* √ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. √ Certification: CPA (T), ACCA, or an equivalent professional certification (mandatory). √ 5+ years of proven experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in healthcare, retail, or FMCG industries. √ Strong understanding of Tanzanian tax laws, IFRS, and financial reporting standards. √ Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo is an advantage) and advanced Excel skills. √ Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. *Mode of Application* Interested candidates should submit their CVs to *[email protected]* Before *28 February, 2025* #only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
