This week, our hearts are heavy for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). On 13th February, 70 Christian believers were brutally murdered in a church by suspected ISIS-linked militants. In a moment of unimaginable violence, they were taken from their families and communities.
Though separate from the M23 conflict, this tragedy is a stark reminder of the dangers Christians face in the DRC, now ranked 35th on the World Watch List. As persecution intensifies, we cannot remain silent. Let us stand in prayer and solidarity, lifting up our suffering brothers and sisters before the Lord.
Let us pray together:
🕊️ Pray for those in authority, that God will grant them the wisdom and discernment to bring peace and protection to the DRC. May they have the courage to act for justice and safety for all.
🕊️ Pray for the Church in the DRC, that they may be filled with the love of Christ and show forgiveness to those who have wronged them. May they reflect His grace and mercy even in the darkest of times.
🕊️ Pray for the families grieving the loss of their loved ones, that God’s comfort, peace, and strength would wrap around them in their deep sorrow. May they feel His presence in the midst of their pain.
We ask that you join us in prayer for the strength of the Church in the DRC, for healing in the brokenness, and for the light of Christ to shine brightly amidst severe persecution. 🙏
Your prayers matter. Your voice makes a difference. 📢 Share to raise awareness.
