The reconstruction of the Mora-Tchakamari section, launched on April 1, 2024, continues despite significant security challenges. The project, part of the Mora-Dabanga-Kousséri road corridor (PACRI), aims to enhance connectivity. Progress includes 18 out of 34 planned structures completed, 6 km of soil-cement foundations laid, and 5.4 km of untreated gravel installed. However, security risks continue to disrupt operations, particularly in vulnerable areas.
