*SUNDAY’S MORNING PRAYER* Dear Lord, you once shared the parable about the wheat that grew together with the weed. At the final day, the weed was cut down and burnt while the wheat was harvested and stored in the barns. Dear Father, in the society today we have people who chose to grow like the weed. While you did plant us to yield, others have fallen prey to the evil one and are now weeds. They compete with the wheat. Sometimes they succeed at the expense of the wheat and grow big. But on the final day they’ll have to be cut down. Some have grown the weed in form of gossip with an intention of bringing down a person, some have worked for the downfall of others just because they felt that they weren’t good like them. Some have worked to spoil other peoples marriages. All in all, despite the challenges you’ll still help the wheat to grow strong and in the final day yield to good fruits. Strengthen me so that despite the competition I may grow. Hold my hand dear Father so that in the midst of all challenge
