Ramadhan
It is narrated on the authority of Anas ibn Malik (radhiallahu 'anh) that Rasulullah (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said,
"Partake of Suhoor, for indeed there is a great blessing (Barakah) in Suhoor."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, 1923)
Many speak of lack of appetite at the time of Suhoor, or tiredness, and miss the barakah that Rasulullah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam informed us about.
Eat something, even if it may be a date. Spend some time engaged in tilawah of the Qur'an shareef, durood, thikr and du'a.
We may find it easier to go without eating much as we get older, but we deprive ourselves of the blessings, so let us wake up, do wudhu and start our day with Bismillah and Barakah in sha Allah.
