*Stay Rooted in Faith* _By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare_ _Day 35 (04/02/2025)_ > *_1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV) “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.”_* Most believers think that just because they are saved, they are exempt from trials and afflictions. They panic and abandon their faith after a few trials in life and lose trust in the power of God at work in their lives. As believers, we must understand that, as long as we live on this earth, we will face all forms of attacks and like Jesus, we might suffer. The good news is that the world would not overpower us if only we remain steadfast in our faith. Here are three ways to remain steadfast in your faith: 1. *Put on the armour of God.* The only way you can fight the battle of this life is to put on the armour of God. Unless you are clothed in this, you will be defeated. Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:11 (NIV), “Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” 2. *Consider it pure joy when trials come.* Since you have been forewarned about the trials you will go through, you need not panic when they come to pass. James 1:2-3 (NIV) says, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." 3. *Pray through your afflictions.* Our adversary, the devil, never goes to sleep, and neither should we. As he seeks to shake our faith and destroy us through affliction, our source of great resistance against him is prayer. We must do as Apostle James instructs in James 5:13 (NIV): "Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise.” _Precious one, though the devil and the whole world may be against you, remain steadfast in your faith by rejoicing in your trials, praying without ceasing, and putting on the armour of God, and you shall surely overcome._ *Prayer:* _Heavenly Father, strengthen my faith, and let me never be moved by the circumstances of life, in Jesus’ name, Amen._ *Cross References:* Hebrews 11:17 Psalms 119:30 Habakkuk 2:4 _Join my WhatsApp and Facebook broadcast channels for more insights and life-changing information:_ *WhatsApp:* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaDR57i8F2p9KGQQdf1C *Facebook:* https://m.me/j/AbYGVDBGVG4mwk4K/
