A first crop son of Widden's Portland Sky has caught the eye, with competition coming from all parts of the Riverside Stables ring, but it was Team Private Harry, Kurrinda Bloodstock's Sean Driver and trainer Nathan Doyle who won the battle, paying $320,000 for the impressive colt. "I have just found that they (the Portland Skys) are really nice, balanced horses," Driver says. "That's what I look for. I probably don't have that budget to buy on the pedigree as such, so we buy on type."
