In 2024, Morocco’s aeronautics sector recorded impressive export growth, reaching nearly MAD 26.45 billion, a 14.9% increase compared to 2023, driven by a 23.6% surge in the assembly segment to MAD 17.23 billion and a 1.5% rise in EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) to MAD 9.1 billion. The country’s broader export landscape also showed strong performances, with phosphates and derivatives growing by 13.1% to MAD 86.76 billion, and the automotive sector reaching MAD 157.6 billion (+6.3%), fueled by increased sales in vehicle interiors, wiring, and construction components. Meanwhile, the agriculture and agri-food sector expanded by 3.1% to MAD 85.81 billion, and electronics exports saw a slight 0.1% growth, highlighting Morocco’s diversification efforts, although the textile and leather industry experienced a slight decline of 0.5%. @MorocCÔnnected
