The Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) unequivocally condemns the recent executive order issued by Donald Trump, which targets the Republic of South Africa and its governance. This action, is not only an affront to the sovereignty of our nation but also a blatant example of neo-colonialism and interference in the internal affairs of a democratic state. It is particularly disheartening to note that during the darkest days of apartheid, when Africans were subjected to oppression by predominantly white regimes in South Africa, the United States offered little to no support to our liberation movements. This historical neglect starkly contrasts with the current narrative, where calls are made for whites to settle in America. Such hypocrisy is not lost on us and underscores the need for a more consistent and principled approach to justice and equality.
