ब्राह्मणी लक्ष्मीबाई महान सवतंत्रता सेनानी थी या क्षत्रिय मानसिंह? दोनों ने मुग़लों से गठबंधन किया। लक्ष्मीबाई ने अंतिम मुग़ल बहादुर शाह जफ़र को अखंड भारत का बादशाह बनाने हेतु 1857 ग़दर का हिस्सा बनी वही मानसिंह मुग़ल अकबर को अखंड भारत का बादशाह बनाने हेतु गठबंधन में जुड़े । बहादुरी की बात करे तो जब अंग्रेजों ने झाँसी किले पर हमला किया तो अपने दत्तक पुत्र के साथ रानी पिछले दरवाज़े ने निकल गई और बहुजन शेर और शेरनी झलकारी बाई किले में लड़ते रहे वही मानसिंह कभी भी अपना क़िला छोड़ कर नहीं भागे उल्टे वो अकबर के लिए अन्य ग़ैर मुस्लिम राजाओ को हरा कर अपनी शूरवीरता का परिचय देते रहे। जहांगीर नामा के अनुसार जहाँगीर को अपना ससुराल कुछ ख़ास पसंद नहीं था क्योकि मानसिंह, अपने रिश्तेदार जहांगीर और अकबर को मरियल घोड़े और हाथी नजराने के रूप में पेश करते थे और जहांगीर मनमसोस के रह जाते। अब सवाल यह है कि लक्ष्मीबाई को महान स्वंत्रता सेनानी घोषित कर दिया गया लेकिन मानसिंह जैसे शूरवीर प्रतापी राजा में कौन से कांटे लगे थे जो आए दिन कोई भी उन्हें महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानी तो दूर गद्दार तक बोल देते है ? क्या आपको नहीं लगता है इस तरह के प्रसंग से इतिहास के कई स्वतंत्रता सेनानी संदेह के घेरे में आ रहे है ? और कई लोगो को जानबूझ कर गद्दार घोषित किया गया है ? यानी इतिहास भी वर्णव्यवस्था के आधार पर तय हो रहा है ? अब जाते जाते एक सवाल का जवाब देते जाय की अल्लाह उपनिषद लिखने वाला और भविष्य पुराण लिखने वाला किस श्रेणी में आयेगा जिसे पीढ़ी दर पीढ़ी ढो कर बड़ी मेहनत से लाया गया है? Was Brahmin Lakshmibai a greater freedom fighter or Kshatriya Mansingh? Both of them formed an alliance with the Mughals. Lakshmibai became a part of the 1857 revolt to make the last Mughal Bahadur Shah Zafar the emperor of undivided India while Mansingh joined the alliance to make Mughal Akbar the emperor of undivided India. Talking about bravery, when the British attacked Jhansi fort, the queen along with her adopted son escaped from the back door and Bahujan lion and lioness Jhalkari Bai kept fighting in the fort, whereas Mansingh never left his fort and ran away, on the contrary, he kept defeating other non-Muslim kings for Akbar and showing his bravery. According to Jahangir Nama, Jahangir did not like his in-laws very much because Mansingh used to present skinny horses and elephants as gifts to his relative Jahangir and Akbar and Jahangir used to be left disappointed. Now the question is that Lakshmibai was declared a great freedom fighter, but what thorns were there in a valiant and brave king like Mansingh that everyday people call him a traitor, let alone a great freedom fighter? Don't you think that due to such incidents many freedom fighters of history are coming under suspicion? And many people have been deliberately declared traitors? That means history is also being decided on the basis of caste system?
