एक विशेष जाति ने अफवाह फैलाई की समुद्री यात्रा नही की जाती है. जो समुद्री यात्रा करता उसे अपनी जाति से बाहर निकाल देते. 15वीं सदी में पूरे यूरोप के राजा जल यात्रा और नए जल मार्ग के खोज पर भारी निवेश कर रहे थे. इस दौरान भारत के राजा और बादशाह मंदिर बना रहे हैं, नदी पर घाट बना रहे हैं. कोई बुलंद दरवाजा, तो कोई मीनार तो कोई ताजमहल बना रहा है. महान शासक छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज ने भारत देश की पहली शक्तिशाली नौसेना बनाकर मनुवादी विचारधारा को ध्वस्त कर दिया. भारत में विमान वाहक जहाज का नाम शिवाजी महाराज नही रखकर विक्रमादित्य और विक्रांत नाम पर रखा गया.
