Do you know Mohamed Jalloh, one of our Community Health Officers? Here, he is wearing a big smile, because the Management Team of Lion Heart Medical Centre just awarded him a certificate of appreciation for serving as the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) focal person for over 2 years (since 2022). He succeeded in establishing a functional IPC committee, conducted trainings on IPC safety measures for all hospital staff (medical and non-medical), and organized several successful general hospital cleaning sessions. Jalloh was the diabetes focal person of the hospital too. As a passionate clinician, Jalloh has been granted a LHMC scholarship to pursue further studies.
