*🚨WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FORFEIT 20% OF YOUR Pi IN ORDER TO CHANGE YOUR Pi ACCOUNT NAME TO MATCH WITH YOUR KYC/ID CARD NAME* Formally, The Core Team Doesn't Allow A Total Name Change. Correcting Just One Was Possible Before But Now The OPTION 2 Allows Pioneer To Totally Change Their Two Different Names. The Above Screenshot Attached To This Text Is An Account Of A Pioneer I Assisted To Change His Pi Account Name By Choosing OPTION 2. 1️⃣First Of All ,His KYC Was Rejected As A Result Of A Total Name Mismatch Pi Account Name: Showing "De-Meeky Demeek" While His KYC/ID Card Name: Showing "Kingsley Effiong" 2️⃣He Proceeded To Select OPTION 2 And Accepted To Forfeit 20% Of His Pi To Totally Change His Names In Order To Match With His ID Card Names. After This Action,His Names Changed Instantly And Immediately. In Some Cases After Forfeiting,Your KYC Will Be Passed Instantly But In Other Cases You May Be Taken Back To Tentative Approval Where You'll Need To Perform Additional Liveness Check In Order To Fully Pass Your KYC. 3️⃣Before Forfeiting 4️⃣After Forfeiting Picture 3️⃣ Shows His Initial Profile With The Former Names And 185π While Picture 4️⃣ Shows His Current Profile After His Name Has Been Changed To His Real Names On His ID Card And Then He's Left With 148π (After 20% Has Been Subtracted). Note; 20% Of 185π Is 37π So This Pioneer Lost 37π Just To Change His Names. This 20% Forfeited Pi Was Subtracted From His Transferrable Balance If You Have Anyone Who's Facing The Same Challenge Of A Total Name Mismatch (Where Both Names Are Totally Different) Please Advice Him Or Her To Select OPTION 2 And Forfeit 20% Of His Or Her Pi In Order To Be Able To Pass KYC Instead Of Losing Everything.
