*About the Smiles for Mothers Program*
The Smiles for Mothers program aims to improve maternal health outcomes by implementing a comprehensive Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH) bundle and other maternal health innovations.
*Job Summary*
Field Implementation Support Officers will play a crucial role in ensuring effective program monitoring, evaluation, capacity building, and service delivery at health facilities.
*Key Objectives*
- Collect and analyze data on the implementation of the comprehensive PPH bundle
- Identify and address gaps in data quality, reporting, and service delivery
- Monitor the availability, supply, and consumption of the PPH bundle
- Provide hands-on support to facility staff in delivering quality maternal health services
*Roles and Responsibilities*
*Monitoring and Evaluation*
- Conduct routine facility visits to collect and verify service delivery and program data
- Track and report on the availability and consumption of maternal health commodities
- Collate and submit high-quality data reports on program performance
*Service Delivery*
- Support facility staff in providing ANC and delivery services
- Address identified gaps in service delivery through direct support and mentoring
*Capacity Building*
- Mentor facility staff to improve data management and reporting
- Conduct supportive supervision to enhance the skills of facility personnel
*Stakeholder Engagement*
- Act as a liaison between the program team and facility-level stakeholders
- Facilitate communication with state MDAs to support program implementation
*Deliverables*
- Bi-weekly data reports from supported facilities
- Weekly updates on maternal health commodity supply and utilization
- Facility-level reports on service delivery gaps and mentoring outcomes
*Required Competencies*

*Education and Experience*
- Academic Qualification: A degree in Nursing, Midwifery, or a related health field
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in health workforce development
