*Call for Papers: AI in Society, Oxford Intersections* *Overview* Oxford University Press is launching a new resource, Oxford Intersections, which reflects the critical role of peer-reviewed interdisciplinary research in tackling complex global challenges. We invite abstracts for new research articles on AI's social impacts in the majority world. *Topics* We seek articles on the following topics: - AI applications and social impacts in the majority world - AI governance and ethics in the majority world - Gender and inclusion in AI *Submission Guidelines* - Manuscripts should be original and not previously published - Abstracts should be no more than 500 words and submitted with CVs to [email protected] - Accepted articles should be 5-8K words and will undergo rigorous peer review *Key Dates* - Abstract Submission Deadline: 01 March 2025 - Notification of Acceptance: 15 March 2025 - Final Manuscript Due: 01 May 2025 *About AI in Society* AI in Society will bring together scholarly research exploring AI's transformation of the world, its challenges, and debates.
