Today during the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) meeting, we approved our officers' promotion exercise for 2025, amongst other critical issues as enumerated below. 1. Vacant Positions Filled: We've approved the immediate filling of vacant Deputy Controllers-General (DCG) and Assistant Controllers-General (ACG) positions across all 4 services. This opens up opportunities for officers currently on covering duties to participate in the next screening exam while ensuring federal character representation. 2. Handbook Development: The Board discussed the creation of a comprehensive handbook for all services, aiming to enhance standardization and efficiency. 3. 2025 Promotion Exercise: We announce the approval of the 2025 promotion exercise to provide a clear pathway for career advancement in fulfilment of the RenewedHope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).
