We are Recruiting! Our client in Harare is looking for a dynamic and driven Head of Paints to join their team for a job vacancy within the Automotive industry. The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Developing and executing a comprehensive strategic plan for the paint division, aligned with overall company goals. Identifying market opportunities and trends to drive product development and sales growth. Setting sales targets and market penetration strategies Overseeing the raw material procurement, manufacturing, quality control, and packaging. Managing production schedules and optimizing efficiency to meet demand. Leading R&D efforts to develop new paint products, improve existing formulas, and stay competitive in the market. Collaborating with technical teams to test and evaluate new paint formulations. Identifying customer needs and incorporating them into new product development Leading the sales team to achieve sales targets and market share objectives. Developing marketing strategies to promote new paint products and build brand awareness. Managing relationships with key customers and distributors Managing the paint division budget, including cost control measures and profitability analysis. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement Requirements: At least 8 years of experience in the Paint Industry Strong knowledge of the paint industry, market trends, and competitor landscape Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
