N/A Current visa stamped in passport category ?(F1, H1B, H4 etc,) H1B Previous visa in passport ?(F1, F2, H1B, H4 etc,) H1B Questions asked during interview: Is this is the renewal? (Yes) Have you changed any job or employer? (Ans: No I haven't); what is your salary? (Answered); What do you teach? (Answered). Documents asked during visa interview: Passport, I 797, Employment verification letter by HR, My employment contract. These are the documents I handed over. And VO asked nothing extra. She typed something in the computer while asking questions and finally she said that your visa is approved and it may take up to 5 days to get your passport. Except passport I provided all copies only (I have original I797 with me). When I pick up the passport, all those copies returned as well. When did you get your passport? Date? On 3rd working day - Jan 29th Please help to explain process at asc & consulate(any useful info to others) ? ASC is very straight forward just carry DS160 confirmation and passport it will be completed in 10 minutes as there are many counters. For counselor interview, there are three initial checks. At first after security check, verification of passport, I797, Employment verification, and he put a clip on all these and asked to go to inside the main section where one more check is performed (counters 1-3) with the documents. She said your details are verified and go to next set of counters. After waiting for some time in the next counter she verified biometrics. Then last is the main interview. Total it took around 30-40 minutes. Please help to explain process for passport pickup from asc or consulate or DHL etc., (Any other observations about DHL) ? I opeted for DHL location. One day before we will get tracking number in the visa login page at the bottom where we see check DS160 status. Then on the day of pickup I received one email from DHL saying it is ready for pickup. Then went there and showed the tracking number and DL to get the envelope with passport. If attended for F1 visa, what’s your university name ? (If applicable) Is this emergency appointment (or) non-emergency appointment ? Non emergency When and where was your last time stamping in passport?(location/ year) HYD March 2020 When did you start visa stamping process for mexico ? Nov 2024 When did you book / find these appointments?
