Please help to explain process at asc & consulate(any useful info to others) ? - We had same day appointments. Jorge is very punctual and made sure we followed all rules to enter ASC - no electronics. It was fast process , barely 15mins max. Then immediately drove us to consulate. The line was long, took around 1h -2h for the interview. It’s very organized inside, chairs to sit on, which was very different from my previous experience at Mumbai consulate. Interviewer was very friendly and kept talking randomly of dating apps and how he has been to India and exchanged some Hindi words as well. There were just 3 windows for work visa category! But it was fast process. They just ask few questions and that’s about it. Me and my husband were given white slip which means 2-4 days to get the passport. Please help to explain process for passport pickup from asc or consulate or DHL etc., (Any other observations about DHL) ? - I did have doc letter and could have expedited my pick up process , but as soon as my status changed to “Issued” , Jorge helped to pick the passport sooner based on my return flight ticket. Depends on the day and time , it usually takes less than 10mins to pick up the passport at the ASC. Make sure not to give your old passport (if you happen to have any) at the consulate, it is also normal , if they take both passports they might not return it together. For my husband - they returned his old passport first and current passport a day later! Which made us panic , but Jorge really makes sure you are calm and guides you with each step! If attended for F1 visa, what’s your university name ? (If applicable) - NA Is this emergency appointment (or) non-emergency appointment ? - Emergency appointment When and where was your last time stamping in passport?(location/ year) - February 2023 at Mumbai, India When did you start visa stamping process for mexico ? - Dec end / beginning of January When did you book / find these appointments? (If emergency appointment, when did you submit EA request ?) - Emergency appointment, submitted request in Jan 2nd week , got the exact date I requested for Feb. Please share any tips you think will useful for getting emergency appointments (or) non-emergency appointments? - If you’re awaiting H4 EAD renewal (like me) , I gave them a long reason how I’m being affected financially since unable to work for a long time, also being in a healthcare field helped me to get a EA. Any feedback you want to leave for our team (or) any suggestions for upcoming clients- The ground transportation is AMAZING!! Jorge is super professional and punctual and knows about the system. Trust him completely while you’re there. He will have answers to all your questions and give best solutions! We also took Jorge’s tourism packages. Shout out to Hugo (driver + guide) , simply great guy, super professional, takes extra effort to use Google translate to communicate with you. Make sure you’re taken care of each time! We did Pyramids and Grutas De Tolantonga and historic monument tours with Hugo.. he is a great photographer and it was fun to have him with us as a tour guide, he really helped to bargain a great price during shopping! All the tours are worth the time and price! Jorge also guides you well and where to go to get exit immigration stamp while coming back to the States! Overall a great experience and so much faster than most of consulates in India, processing time or hassle to get the appointment. Will definitely recommend this services to my friends!
