And among them was *USAID.* *USAID* is the American Government's Agency for administering civilian foreign aid. It's believed that the *USAID* has been around the world appearing to help nations develop. It has given food to famine areas, supporting climate change and other disasters around the world. However, as a global power, the United States government has two approaches to Global influence. One, is the military one, where it has over 800 military posts outside the US, and the other is the soft power. With these the US can intervene in any country of course subject to a few. But it needs a soft power which the *USAID* has had, to influence policy in any part of the world. Uganda is said to be a big recipient of USAID and it has been receiving US $5 million a year to influence homosexuality. _What is the truth about *USAID* ? Is it an arm that helps development of poor countries?
