*C20 SOUTH AFRICA ENGAGEMENT WITH THE PARLIAMENTARY PORTFOLIO COMMITTEE ON INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS* Today, Wednesday, 12 February 2025 was another milestone for C20 South Africa. The C20 South Africa Chairperson, Thulani Tshefuta together with Sherpa, Mabalane Mfundisi presented the plans of C20 to the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on International Relations. The meeting was chaired by Honourable Supra Mahumapelo who is the Chairperson of the Committee. This meeting provided a platform for the C20 & other engagement platforms of the G20 to present their plans & engage with parliamentarians serving in this committee. Other than C20 (Civil Society) the other engagement groups that participated and presented their plans were W20 (Women), T20 (Think Tanks), L20 (Labour) & B20 (Business). The Committee expressed appreciation that various engagement groups are on track to demonstrate that South Africa is ready for the G20.
