A panel discussion at the GFAN Africa (Global Fund Advocates Network Africa) Annual Strategy Meeting hosted by WACI Health and Impact Santè Africa taking place today, Sunday, 16 February 2025 in Johannesburg. The panelists are Members of Parliament from 🇿🇼, Democratic Republic of 🇨🇩, Cameroon 🇨🇲 and Lesotho🇱🇸. These members are articulating their positions and those of their countries regarding: 1. Parliamentarians are open to engage with civil society leaders to advance issues where the members can sponsor Private Members Bills to bring legislation to change lives of citizens. 2. There is a need for African countries to use their own funds for domestic financing of health care. Africa is rich, it is only the leaders who make it poor through their sub-standard leadership. 3. South to South collaboration between African countries 4. Engaging civil society & other stakeholders for serving Africa better 5. Support for South Africa's leadership of the G20 and commitment to support the C20 #c20southafrica
