As the curtains fell on the GFAN (Global Fund Advocates Network) Strategy Meeting at the Southern Sun Hotel in Rosebank, Johannesburg that took place for two days, 15 and 16 February 2025, Peter Sands, the Executive Director of the Global Fund, delivered a powerful closing remarks that reinforced the urgency of global health financing and advocacy. In the mix was C20 Sherpa, Mabalane Mfundisi who articulated issues from the perspective of what the C20 will deliver to the G20 working with other engagement groups of the G20 like the Y20, B20, W20, L20, T20 just to mention a few. This work should be looked through the lens of P20 (Parliament 20) which must monitor how the people are represented.
