VALID FOR THE MORNING OF 3RD FEBRUARY 2025 THROUGH THE MORNING OF 4TH FEBRUARY 2025 SYNOPSIS: Moderate winds and seas will continue across the Cayman area through tomorrow morning as a high-pressure system remains over the southeast United States. A slight increase in winds and seas are expected thereafter as the aforementioned high-pressure moves into the western Atlantic Ocean and strengthens the pressure gradient across our area. Radar images show scattered showers within 25 miles of Grand Cayman moving towards the west southwest. FORECAST: Today: Mainly sunny skies becoming partly cloudy at times with a 30% chance of showers this morning. Temperatures will rise to the mid 80’s °F. Winds will be east to northeast at 10 to 15 knots. Seas will be moderate with wave heights of 3 to 5 feet. Tonight: Mainly clear skies with partly cloudy spells and a 30% chance of overnight showers. Temperatures will fall to the mid 70’s °F. Winds will be east to northeast at 10 to 15 knots with higher gusts. Seas will be moderate with wave heights of 4 to 6 feet.
