February 2, 2025 _"May the Lord Answer You in Times of Trouble"_ Psalm 20:1-2 "May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion." Today's scripture is a beautiful expression of trust and confidence in God's presence and power. The psalmist is praying for God's protection and deliverance in times of trouble, and he is reminding himself and others of God's faithfulness and goodness. The phrase "May the Lord answer you when you are in distress" is a powerful reminder that God is always available to us, even in our darkest moments. He is the God who answers prayer, who hears our cries for help, and who comes to our rescue. The psalmist also reminds us that God's protection is not just physical, but also spiritual.
