SOUL FOOD DEVOTIONAL *MOVE WITH THE WISE* Prov 13:20 20 He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. NIV Associate with the wise (the sound in knowledge, the successful, intelligent, those who have direction) and you will soon be like them. If you associate with loafers, you will become a loafer. If you keep close company with those who are going nowhere and looking forward to nothing, very soon, you too will lose your vision and become like them. If you associate with those who are confused about what they want to become in life, it will not be long, you will become confused. The people you associate with matter a lot to what you become in life. There are those whose life will inspire you to greater heights, and there are those who bring discouragement. There are those who make you want to serve God better and become useful to God, and there are those whose lifestyle and conversation distance you from God as it makes you to dislike and hate anything that has to do with God. The wise are they which help you want to know and love God more. The wise are those who believe and practice the word of God. The wise are they who revere and honour God with their lives. The wise are they who take heed unto the word of God. The wise are they who have allowed the word of God to renew their minds, reshape their lives and have made up their minds to live in agreement with God and His teachings. The wise are they who are committed to adding value to people’s lives. The wise are they who understand the importance of humility and the destructive nature of pride and arrogance, and have decided to walk in humility all their lives no matter their level of lifting and prosperity. Walk with the wise. I pray that you will locate wise people and walk with them in Jesus name. Be connected to the wise by the grace and mercy of the Father in Jesus name. Be distanced from people that will destroy your life in Jesus name. Apostle Sylvester Onyemalechi www.jfoutreach.com
