London Trams Planned Track Replacement – February 2025 As part of ongoing infrastructure renewal, track replacement will take place between Wellesley Road and East Croydon from Saturday 15 to Sunday 23 February, with services resuming on Monday 24 February. Service Changes: Saturday 15 February: No trams between Reeves Corner and Sandilands (including Croydon town centre loop). No service between Arena and Elmers End. Alternative travel: Local buses will serve nearby tram stops. The 289 bus runs from Elmers End Interchange to Addiscombe or West Croydon every 12-15 minutes. Birkbeck tram stop is also accessible via a short walk or bus 356 (stop B). Sunday 16 – Sunday 23 February: No trams between Reeves Corner and East Croydon (including Croydon town centre loop). No service between Arena and Elmers End. Alternative travel options remain the same as above. Additional Information: Roads around the works will remain open. Bus routes 64, 119, 130, 194, 198, 464, and 466 will operate as usual but may be busier. Walking, cycling, or using local buses may be easier for some journeys.
