*🏗️ Construction Permits on the Rise in Georgia* In *2024*, the number and area of construction permits issued in Georgia have seen an increase. According to National Statistics, last year, permits were granted for *12,080* buildings, covering a total area of *12,040,430 sq.m*. In comparison, *11,279* permits for a total area of *9,379,223 sq.m* were issued in *2023*. Tbilisi led the way with the highest number of permits at *5,648*, followed by Kvemo Kartli with *1,267* and Mtskheta-Mtianeti with *985*. In Adjara, *823* permits were granted, while Kakheti saw *968*. The least permits, traditionally, were issued in the regions of Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, totaling only *65*. Most permits were allocated for residential multi-apartment buildings, totaling *8,440*.
