When Sivasubramaniam Jayaraman booked a cab in Bengaluru, he didn’t expect the ride to leave such a lasting impression.
His driver, Rajneesh, greeted him with a warm smile but didn’t respond verbally. A poster in the cab explained that Rajneesh was speech-impaired and had built a unique business model for himself.
He offers lower airport fares while providing bottled water, napkins, and even books for passengers.
Curious, Jayaraman asked, “Do you really have bottled water?” Without hesitation, Rajneesh pulled out a sealed bottle and gestured if he wanted one—happy to offer it even though it was part of his airport service.
“What struck me the most was not just his generosity but also his approach to work. Despite his limitation, he has created a simple yet effective customer experience — offering affordable rides with personal touches that even big platforms don’t provide,” he added.
His story has since gone viral, touching hearts across the country.
In a world of tech-driven ride services, Rajneesh proves that great service is about more than just convenience—it’s about heart.❤️
