The beginning of the month of Shabān 1446 is on Friday, January 31, 2025 According to Abdu l-Lāh son of Hichām: The companions of the Messenger of Allāh learned this invocation that they said when a new year or a new month began: « اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْأَمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ، وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ، وَرِضْوَانٍ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَجِوَارٍ (أيْ حِفْظٍ) مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ » (Allāhumma adkhilhu `alaynā bi l 'amni wa l 'īmān, wa s-salāmati wa l-'islām, wa riḍwānin mina r-Raḥmān, wa jiwārin mina ch-chayṭān) Which means: « O Allāh, let his arrival be accompanied by safety and faith, protection and Islam, approval from Ar-Raḥmān, and preservation against the chayṭān ». It is not true that the Prophet would have said that whoever wishes people blessings on the occasion of this month, God preserve him from hell.
