Sorghum farming is a game-changer in Mwea Constituency. Last week, I toured some of the farms under our sorghum contract farming initiative and was impressed by the dedication the farmers are putting into their work, especially the Ukweli Redsoil Self-Help Group, a women's group of 60-70 members from Ngurubani. These resilient women have embraced sorghum farming and are now set to supply directly to Kenya Breweries Limited.
