قال الإمام ابن الجوزي رحمه الله: The Imam Ibn al-Jawzi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: ‏مَن رزق قلبًا طيبًا، ولذّة مُناجاة؛ Whoever is granted a pure heart and the sweetness of intimate supplication, ‏فليُراع حاله، وليحترز من التغيير، let him take care of his state and beware of change, ‏وإنّما تدوم له حاله بدوام التّقوى. for his state will only remain by the continuation of piety. ‏صيد الخاطر (ص٤١٠)
