SOPA2025 | KZN Education on the Rise! Kwa-Zulu Natal Premier, Honourable Thamisanqa Ntuli commends MEC Sipho Hlomuka for transformative leadership as KZN achieves a record 89.5% matric pass rate. More schools excelled, with 321 achieving a 100% pass rate. The school nutrition programme now supports 2.5M learners, while 66K vulnerable learners received psycho-social support. Infrastructure improvements continue, with 22 new schools under construction and the R187M Tongaat Special School completed. "Siyadlala Thursday" boosts sports & arts, while KZN shines in choral music, winning 18 national trophies. Looking ahead, the focus is on ECD, STEM, vocational education, and fostering social cohesion in all 12 districts.
