Mandazi Recipe
These mouthwatering Mandazi are crafted with love and care, featuring a hint of cinnamon and a touch of sweetness. The perfect snack or dessert, they're irresistible when served warm and freshly fried.
Ingredients:
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
5 tablespoons sugar
¼ cup melted margarine
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup milk
½ teaspoon salt
1 egg
Method:
1. Mix sugar and egg in a bowl.
2. Add milk and melted margarine, mix well.
3. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon together.
4. Combine dry ingredients with milk mixture.
5. Knead for 8-10 minutes.
6. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.
7. Roll out dough, cut into triangle or rectangle shapes.
8. Heat oil in a pot and fry until golden brown.
