*JAMB INTRODUCES UNDERAGE ADMISSION POLICY AND GUIDELINES*
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who turn 16 by September 30, 2025, will be eligible for admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions for the 2024/2025 academic session.
However, JAMB has also introduced a special underage admission policy for candidates below 16 years. Such candidates must:
✅ Sign an indemnity form before registration.
✅ Score at least 80% (320) in UTME and 80% in O’Level.
✅ Take an additional exam called the “Exceptional Candidate Exam” and score at least 80% before their admission can be considered.
*These measures ensure that underage candidates meet the academic and intellectual requirements for tertiary education.*
