*GDPF Reaches Out to Syria’s New President* The Georgian Democratic Political Forces (the conglomerate of the four pro-Western coalitions/parties) has formally reached out to the newly-appointed interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa of Syria, calling on his administration to revoke Assad’s 2018 recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Syria remains one of five countries to violate Georgia’s territorial integrity, along with Russia, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Nauru.
